Description

This is a delightful Antique French Giltwood Armchair in excellent condition dating from around 1870. The chair has an elegant design with a beautifully hand carved giltwood frame in good sound condition. It has been recently reupholstered in a good quality cotton chenille with a tartan design in raspberry an pistachio shades.

This is a most comfortable seat, having a feather filled separate squab cushion and stuffed back and wings. The fabric is edged with close nailed brass studding throughout the frame. This is a beautiful chair in superb order ready for use.

It is a good size measuring 104 cms high 74 cms wide by 82 cms deep.
