Antique French Victorian Mahogany Salon Chair C1880 Wdb6134/15.11

Description

Lovely antique french 19th century mahogany salon nursing chair and dating from around 1880. It has a solid mahogany reeded frame scrolled to the ends and with carved cartouche to the centre above a deeply padded upholstered back rest and stuff over seat on turned legs on castors. It is covered in a heavy duty velvet flock fabric.

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality mahogany oozing the charm and character of the french 19th century period.

Measures: 42" high X seat height 15.5" X 20" deep X 18" wide
