A very elegant and cleverly designed early cabriole high back chair with beautifully curved sweeping back with pierced fan splat. C-scroll motifs on the cabriole forelegs with fine and unusual carved acanthus leaf design.
Joined with turned H stretcher and back rail, drop in seat with fabulous needlework upholstery expressing exotic birds and flowers. C.1730
