Pair of early C19th Regency period mahogany armchairs.

Well-proportioned pair of Regency mahogany armchairs, with reeded frames , raised on elegant turned fore-legs . The concave backs with moulded and fielded panel detail above a ‘rope-twist’ lumbar bar . The shaped scroll arms with turned supports.

The stuff-over seats with old damask covers which would probably benefit from reupholstering.

Useful pair of Regency period armchairs for use in a study or library, or for use as dining chairs .

In excellent original condition with no repairs or damage. Superb rich colour and patina. Have been cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
