Superb quality pair of mid 19th century smokers bows chairs. There are 2 identical pairs available, all made by the same craftsman and bearing his makers mark, as in picture 5

These chairs are made from Elm and Ash and over the years have developed a rich antique patination.

All the joints are firm and these chairs are ready to be placed in the home, being in top condition.
