An Elegant Set of Eight Late 18th Century Sheraton Mahogany Dining Chairs of Fine Original Patina

An elegant set of eight late 18th century (circa 1790) Sheraton mahogany dining chairs consisting of two armchairs and six single chairs of fine original patina.

The chairs consist of a shaped and moulded top rail with three pierced and shaped back splats, the central splat with finely carved Prince of Wales feathers to the top, the outer splats with finely carved leaf design to the top, the armchairs with shaped and moulded arm supports.

This leads down to an upholstered seat finished in a neutral fabric in good condition, this could of course be changed for a fabric of choice.

The chairs are supported on shaped and moulded tapered legs with a moulded collar below with outswept legs to the back.

This set of dining chairs are a true period set of Sheraton chairs from the late 18th century, they are in very good condition for age, are of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
