Elegant pair of late 18th century Italian gilt pier mirrors with beautifully foxed mirror plates.

They are both in good condition and retain much of their original gold leaf with some touch ups throughout their lives as you would expect, but they have a lovely mellow glow to them and the mirror plates, although not original, have just the right amount of foxing to them.

Well proportioned pair and hang well as pier mirrors or as my example below over a pair of console tables, which are also available if you might like the set!
