Description

A pair of late C17th, oak high back chairs. These solid oak country chairs feature a yoke top rail, solid variform splat back. Solid plank seats. Raised on turned and block legs all supported by stretchers.

A charming pair of chairs, full of character, with very good colour, polish and patina. Ready for use.

Dimensions:

These chairs measure approximately 96.5 cm (38") tall, 44.5 cm (17.5") wide, and 42.5 cm (17") deep. The seat height measures approximately 39 cm (16").

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - These chairs are in a reasonably good condition commensurate with their age, and are structurally sound. There are some odd marks, blemishes and signs of time worn wear. Some minor historic worm holes. Treated, with no structural damage. Losses to the feet. Very good colour, polish and patina. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
