Description

Very decorative and newly upholstered pair of French 19th century Empire style tub back armchairs with lions paw feet.

Beautifully carved and elegant frames with the tub backs and scrolling arms And sweeping lions paw feet.

These are a comfortable pair of armchairs and something you would be happy to sit in all evening, due to their slightly higher backs they are more supportive and the tub back is well proportioned.

They sit well as free standing armchairs and are great to look at.

They are newly upholstered in faded pale blue / grey stripe with a scrolled braid to finish.

Great pair of armchairs and in good solid condition.
