Stunning 19th century French gilt leaner mirror in superb conditon.

The magnificent, ornate real gilt (gold leaf) on gesso frame dates from around 1880 and has its absolutely beautiful shell and floral crest and side scrolls with no chips at all.

It has its gorgeous heavy glass with no scratches and lovely foxing in places.

It would look stunning as an overmantel mirror above a large fireplace, hanging on a wall or as a free standing leaner mirror in a lounge, bedroom or dressing room.
