They have been constructed from the finest quality solid oak and have unusual shaped carved high backs and stand on tapering front legs with a cross stretcher for added stability. The seats have been recently upholstered in a neutral linen fabric so would fit beautifully into most households. It is clear to see that these wonderful antique chairs are the work of a true Victorian craftsman and they posses beautiful charm and character. The Oak has aged to a lovely golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
