James Ribbons Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
However. These are a superb pair of gilded chairs made in the latter part of the 19th century. The gilding is in very good order with just the perfect amount of wear and rubbing.
The frame is beautifully carved with applique roundels on the legs.
