English walnut open arm chairs. Well shaped frames with good detailed carving, raised on cabriole front legs. The sage green , deep buttoned, velvet upholstery is not new but is still in very good condition, and has been done in the traditional manner. The frames are solid and strong and good warm waxed patina. Original castors. C1870
