Set of Six Bentwood Bistro Chairs C.1900

Description

Good set of six Thonet style bentwood bistro dining chairs c.1900. Bentwood frames with turned top rails and stretchers between splayed rear stiles. Over 15" diameter seats with particularly attractive Art Nouveau style decoration of irises, water lilies and bull rushes. Legs slightly splayed for stability and joined with crossed stretchers. Very good original condition. With a partial stamp to the underside of one chair.
