Antique Set Eight Victorian Country Oak Ladder Back Dining Chairs 6 Chairs + 2 Carvers C1880 Wdb4486/5993/19.10

Description

Superb set eight antique country oak ladder back dining chairs and dating form aorund 1880 with each chair having been repolished and waxed to a lovely finish but still keeping good patination and colour. They have a lovely shaped five ladder back (the carvers have six) with rush seats and standing on a turned leg with a pad on ball foot and joined by turned stretchers to the front and sides. The carvers are identical and have a nicely shaped outsplayed armrest on a turned support leading to the turned front leg.

In very good condition and with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak and oozing the charm and character of the country oak period.

Each chair measures: 37" high X seat height 17.5 X 17" deep X 18" wide

Each carver measures: 42" high X seat height 17.5" X 20" deep X 22" wide
