Victorian novelty letters and bills desktop correspondence box, circa 1860

Modelled as an early upright piano in rosewood, with pewter and mother of pearl inlay

Four slots with engraved m.o.p. labels, answered, unanswered, paid & unpaid, curved lidded pen and pencil compartment.

Corresponding four compartment interior.

In good sound condition with minimal restoration and re polishing.

Original lock, no key.

7,1/2" x 9,1/2" x 8" or 190mm x 242mm x 202mm weight 1278 grams.
