Dimensions:W: 105cm (41.3")H: 160cm (63")

Stunning 19th century French gilt Louis Philippe overmantel mirror.

It dates from around 1860.

It has its stunning real gilt (gold leaf) frame in excellent condition.

It has its original mercury glass with beautiful foxing in places and no scratches. Mercury glass is so hard to find these days and gives a reflection and sparkle like no other.

It has all its original backboards.

It would look gorgeous used for its original purpose as an overmantel above a fireplace but would also look beautiful hanging on a large wall or even free standing.
