Description

Circa 1880. A pair of George II style walnut paddle back chairs. With a carved shaped top with a well-formed scallop shell to the center, upholstered back and seat in Black Watch tartan. The veneer seat rail with carved shell to the front, back legs are slightly out swept, elegant front legs with extended shell to the knee with harebells beneath, and finishing on a ball and claw foot.
