Description

This is a fine and rare pair of 18th century hand carved and gilded North Italian mirrors, probably Lombardy region, Louis XV period circa 1760. The mirrors are in a fine state of preservation with good colour to the original gilding, they retain the original bevelled glass plates which are again in nice original order with only a few minor age related marks. The pair are a most elegant design with the exceptionally rare crown crest.

A very handsome pair in fine condition.

The mirrors measure 130 cms high 10 cms deep by 63 cms wide.
