Set of 6 Regency Mahogany Upholstered Dining Chairs C1830 (William Iv)

A Regency/William IV period, set of six upholstered, mahogany framed, dining chairs, Circa 1830. These chairs with pleasingly figured flared bar back curved top rails. Recently re-upholstered seats, recovered in traditional manner and finished in a pale brown and cream wool woven cheque. Raised on ring turned and fluted front legs and splayed rear legs.

A high quality set of handsome chairs, with signs of use, but in reasonably good condition, recently reupholstered, very sturdy and ready for use.

Dimensions:

These chairs measure approximately 87.5 cm (34.5") tall, 48 cm (19") wide, and 52 cm (20.5") deep. The seat height is approximately 47 cm (19").

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - These chairs are in a reasonable good condition commensurate with their age, and are structurally sound and sturdy. There are some minor marks, blemishes and wear on the frames. Two chairs have repairs to tops of the uprights on the top rail. No loose joints. Recently reupholstered. Good colour, polish and patina. Very sturdy and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.

A 30-day return period is offered for peace of mind. Items must be returned in the same condition as supplied. Return transport costs are the responsibility of the buyer, and original delivery charges are non-refundable. Responsibility for the item remains with the buyer until it has been safely received back.
