The Victorian armchair has been newly upholstered to a professional standard in top quality taupe / light grey chenille material; incorporating the original horsehair fillings, with a newly sprung seat; it shows exceptional craftsmanship with the deep button upholstery to the back and arms. The upholstery is finished with matching braiding to the perimeter of the upholstery and traditional hessian backing to the underside. This Victorian armchair is extremely comfortable, has a fantastic original patination & colour and is in excellent overall condition.

Condition Report:
The Victorian armchair has been newly upholstered to a professional standard with top quality light grey / taupe chenille material; therefore, the upholstery is in excellent condition and is free from any holes, damage or rips. The seat has been newly sprung, therefore is extremely comfortable to sit on. The underside of the seat is finished with traditional hessian backing. The arms, frame and seat are completely solid and show no signs of movement. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the mahogany frame. The mahogany frame has been cleaned and French polished by hand in our workshop to revive the wonderful colour and patination of the timer. The brass and porcelain castors are also in excellent working condition. This Victorian armchair is solid in joint and ready to use.
