Set of Six Fruitwood Dining Chairs C.1890

Description

Delightful set of six small late 19th.c. fruitwood dining chairs c.1890. Attractive backs with beautiful ogee pointed arch shaped top rails with pierced grips and shaped on the underside so that the back slats form a run of four more pointed arches. Over loose seat flats with a webbed pad freshly upholstered in a soft grey woven cloth with matching braid. Simple shaped front legs joined with H stretchers. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
