Large Size George 3rd Upholstered Chair

Description

Large size, wide, 18th century George 3rd mahogany upholstered library or drawing room chair. Unusual tapered front legs going very fine at the base, nice sweep to the back legs with stretchers all round. The arms are a good shape and are nicely moulded. The chair seat is dipped in shape and the back is curved at the top. The chair is in good order with no repairs to the mahogany that I can see. I have a feeling it might have been re-framed inside or at least repaired but I don't really want to mess up the upholstery to see for sure. The upholstery is clean and ready for use.

SIZE; 25" wide by 23" deep by 38" high overall. Seat height is 17"
