William Morris Antique Sussex Chair – Rare Model

Originally from Kelmsott House, the home of William Morris a lovely English 19th century antique Sussex chair by Morris, in fabulous, original condition and with a rushed back rest panel and seat which is all very intact and strong. This Arts & Crafts antique chair is a rare model that dates to around 1870 and features ball finials to the back uprights and the Sussex chair is still in the original ebonised finish. Perfect for dining, desk work or as a decorative occasional side chair.
