A 'Chinese Chippendale' Style Carved Mahogany Chair, Fourth Quarter 19th Century

Description

The cresting-rail carved with C-scrolls and trailing acanthus leaves above a lattice back and serpentine-fronted drop-in seat, raised on chanel-moulded legs with internal chamfered edge and spandrels.

Well executed example in good condition. Minor and isolated wear commensurate with age, additional images can be sent if required. (The jade-coloured fabric with a trellis pattern is included in the sale if wanted. It has not been tacked to the undeside at present, hence the slightly wrinkled appearance of the seat!).

Shipping van be arranged at cost price throughout the UK.
