Antique French Gilt Louis Philippe Mirror - Mercury Glass

Dimensions:W: 124cm (48.8")H: 194cm (76.4")

Stunning antique French Louis Philippe overmantel mirror dating from around 1850.

It has its gorgeous original gilt (real gold leaf) on gesso frame in a leaf design in fantastic condition with no chips at all.

The original mercury glass is in perfect condition, no scratches just lovely foxing, which we love as it shows it is antique. Mercury glass is very hard to find and gives a sparkle like no other.

It would make a fantastic free standing leaner mirror or overmantel.
