Impressive and elegant late 19th century French gilt Louis Philippe mirror in excellent condition.

It has its beautiful original real gilt (gold leaf) on gesso frame and it's beautiful arched top.

It has its absolutely gorgeous original mercury glass with no scratches. Mercury glass is very hard to find and gives a reflection and sparkle like no other!

It has all its original pine backboards.

It would make a beautiful free standing mirror in a lounge or bedroom but would also look incredible used as it was intended, as an overmantel above a large fireplace.
