Mid Georgian period mahogany open armchair. The chair has recently been reupholstered in a blue damask and is traditionally upholstered with horse hair. The rounded camel shaped back is tapered and elegant. The out-swept arms are scrolled off at the ends and perfectly racked back enough to accommodate a desk for the user. The serpentine fronted seat is raised on an ''H'' stretcher and square tapered legs.
