A Late 18th Century Country Elm Side Chair, Probably Scottish C.1800

Derived from a Hepplewhite design, with arched cresting rail, solid seat and square section legs.
 
Good original condition and strcuturally sound. There is a a fine split to the cresting rail which does not affect the integrity of the chair, and a few very isolated historic wormholes (17 in total approximately!). Height from floor to seat 45.5cm.
