Quiet Street Antiques of Bath has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
Each chair features a well carved and pierced back, with 'drop-in' seats supported on carved cabriole front legs which terminate in ball-and-bird claw feet, whilst the carver chairs have shaped and carved solid mahogany arms.
The shoulders are rounded with reeded decoration. The legs are of a solid mahogany cabriole style with acanthus leaves to the top and terminating in heavy ball-and-bird claw feet.

Each of the drop in seats is covered in an attractive 'gross point' and 'petit point' tapestry, all in very good condition indeed. Beautifully individually hand-woven and depicting bunches of flowers.
