Large English 18th Century Antique Oak Armchair

A fabulous, large scale Georgian antique country armchair, beautifully made in solid oak which is a very good, original colour. Originally from the Cumbrian, Lake District region around 1780, this antique armchair features a Chippendale shaped back splat and a lovely shaped top rail with shaped open arms upon turned arm supports. The Cumbrian antique armchair has a solid oak seat with square legs and stretchers. In excellent, solid and honest condition, all pegged construction, a lovely piece.
