C19th Elm & Ash Country Ladderback Rocking Armchair

A C19th, country rocking chair in elm and ash. A four ladder slat back, over rush woven seat. With ring turned front leg supports, splayed rear legs, all supported by stretchers and sat upon curved rockers.

A charming rocking chair from the 2nd half of the C19th.

Dimensions:

This chair measures approximately 107 cm (42") tall, 52 cm (20.5") wide, and 71.5 cm (28") deep. The seat height measures approximately 45.5 cm (18").

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This chair is in a reasonable condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally sound and sturdy. There are some marks, blemishes and signs of use. Some joints have been nailed. Ready for use, or the back could be repaired. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
