Description

Beautiful 19th century French gilt Louis Philippe mirror.

It dates from around 1850.

It has its original real gilt (gold leaf) on gesso frame, in excellent condition.

It has its gorgeous heavy mercury glass with very light foxing and no scratches. Mercury glass is so hard to find these days and gives a sparkle and reflection like no other.

It has all its original pine backboards.
