Georgian Chippendale Set Of 3 Elm Country Dining Chairs

A set of 3 early Georgian period dining chairs, in the country vernacular Chippendale style, Circa C1760. Elm frames with peg jointed construction, pleasingly figured throughout. The backs with serpentine top rails, over pierced variform slats, solid panneled seats, with sculpted front apron rail, raised on square legs with supporting stretcher all round.
 
A charming set of good original period chairs, full of character with attractive aged wear and patina. Ready for use.

These chairs measure approximately 94 cm (37'') tall, 46 cm (18'') wide, and 44 cm (17.5'') deep. The seat height measures approximately 44.5 cm (17.5'').
