Pair Antique Georgian Mahogany Chippendale Chairs with Needlepoint Seats C1750 Wdb6043/20.9

Description

Pair antique georgian mahogany chippendale chairs and dating from aorund 1750. They have a shaped top rail ending with scrolled ears and above a pierced interlocking central back splat and a later needlepoint stuff over seat pad (early victorian) the seat pad being inset into a deep mahogany skirt and standing on lovely cabriole legs on a pad foot.

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality mahogany oozing the charm and character of the chippendale period.

These are a matching pair of chairs but the needlepoint seat pads are slightly different.

Each chair measures: 38" high X seat height 18" X 20" deep X 21" wide
