Antique Victorian Carved Oak Throne Chair C1870 Wdb6004/20.9

Description

Antique large victorian carved oak throne chair and dating from aorund 1870. It has a moulded and shaped top rail above a panelled backrest with carved rose emblem to each corner and with shaped and scroll end armrests carved with acanthus leaves on a turned baluster support. It has a lovely oak seat with a carved frieze to the skirt and stands on turned baluster and block legs joined by squared stretchers.

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak oozing charm and character.

Measures: 54" high X seat height 18" X 27" deep X 27" wide
