Description

A Victorian period, set of 4 Chippendale revival mahogany framed leather upholstered dining chairs, Circa 1890. This quality set of dining chairs feature an elaborately carved and pierced back. Drop in seats covered in oxblood coloured leather hide. Raised on carved cabriole front legs on ball and claw feet, with splayed rear legs. Well proportioned and considerably heavy frames.

A handsome set of chairs in good and original condition, and ready for use.

Dimensions:

These chairs measure approximately 100.5 cm (39.5") tall, 55.5 cm (22") wide, and 56 cm (22") deep. The seat height is approximately 48 cm (19").

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - These chairs are in a good condition commensurate with their age, and are structurally very sound and sturdy. There are only odd minor marks and blemishes to the frames. No obvious signs of repairs or damage. Joints are all tight. The seats are all good and the leather has only minor marks and blemishes. Very serviceable and ready for everyday use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
