This is a beautiful 19th century French Gilt Overmantel mirror in nice original condition with beautiful original gilding dating from around 1860. The mirror has a fine central crest with decorative scroll detail to the frame. The glass is the original mercury plate is in lovely clean condition with no blemishes.

The mirror is a good size, with very attractive proportions, measuring 125 cms high by 78 cms wide.
