Description

Newly upholstered and well proportioned pair of large late 19th century solid rosewood open armchairs in the French Louis xv style, circa 1880 and in good original condition.

These are a pair of chairs that you can happily sit in all evening, whereas the smaller and younger chairs of this style are more of an occasional chair.

Beautifully carved frames and with them being upholstered to the backs in the same matching pale olive green damask, they will free stand if you need.
