A mid Victorian mahogany desk elbow chair, the slightly arched showframe backrest upholstered in buttoned nut-brown leather with studded edge, with outswept padded arms with scrolls at the junction with the seatrail to a generous stuffover seat with piped edge, on fluted front supports and lightly sabred back legs. English, circa 1860.
Condition: Overall very good, the chair is robust and sturdy, and the leather is in good condition. The chair is comfortable to sit on. Seat height 47 cm.
