William Morris Antique Sussex Armchair by Maddox Brown

A beautiful, large sized English 19th Century antique William Morris Sussex chair, a design for Morris by Ford Maddox Brown. Quite a rare model having arms, usually just a smaller stand chair. In excellent, strong condition, in the original ebonised finish and with the original rush seat. A lovely example that dates to around 1870.
