Description

Great proportions to this large French gilt oval mirror, retaining its original mercury mirror plate circa 1880.

This mirror can be hung as you see it here, “portrait” or you may prefer to hang it “landscape.”

It will hang well as an overmantle, but also as a hall or console mirror too.

The gilt has aged gracefully so you have a mellow gilt finish with some wear throughout.
