The carvers with open shaped, carved arms. Overstuffed seats covered in champagne coloured silk blend woven fabric, with striped and flowers enclosed in diamonds. Scoped front seat rail and rounded side seat rails. All raised on fluted tapering square legs with spade feet, square swept rear legs and supported by H-stretchers.

A high quality, handsome, period set of chairs in good and original condition, and ready for use. Constructed in good early high quality mahogany, these chairs are very heavy.
Dimensions:
These chairs measure approximately 95.5 cm (38") tall, 53 cm (21") wide, and 57.5 cm (23") deep. The seat height is approximately 47 cm (19"). The carvers measure approximately 98 cm (39") tall, 62.5 cm (25") wide, and 61 cm (21") deep. The seat height is approximately 47 cm (19").

Condition:
Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - These chairs are in a good condition commensurate with their age, and are structurally very sound and sturdy. There are only odd minor marks and blemishes to the frames. No obvious signs of repairs or damage. Joints are all tight. There is a little wear/patina to the finish, namely on the top rails. The polish has some clouding, namely to the back of a few of the chairs. Colour is general good and quite even. Upholstery structurally good, the fabric covers have a some marks and a little soiling, though could be cleaned. Very serviceable and ready for everyday use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
