Antique Victorian Carved Pugin Oak Chair C1870 Wdb6005/13.9

Description

This is a lovely antique victorian carved oak chair in the manner of pugin and dating from aorund 1870. It has a carved top rail of grapes and vine above a carved gothic panelled backrest with outswept shaped armrests on shaped supports with a lovely oak plank seat above a reeded frieze and standing on squared legs joined by an 'h' stretcher.

This is a beautiful chair with lovely deep colour and patination to the oak oozing charm and character.

It measures: 44" high X seat height 18" X 20" deep X 24" wide
