Description

A rare pair of 18th Century walnut Portuguese high back chairs, having tall carved and shaped backs, the shaped central splat having pierced and carved decoration, a green leather upholstered drop in seat with carved decoration on the seat frame, supported on front carved cabriole legs with ball and claw feet united with shaped stretchers. These chairs are in excellent condition and have recently had both seats upholstered. Circa 1770.
