Description

This 1930s Office Desk Chair has a generous wraparound arm for comfort, alongside a deep back rest. Standing on generously proportioned turned legs at the front, that tie into the curvaceous back legs with bulbous turned stretchers for added strength.

The top rail and arms are attached to the seat via a row of shaped uprights. The seat is covered in a warm toned brown hide, which works so well with the warm tone of the woodwork. Presented in very good condition whilst displaying some lovely wear and patination.

The chair carries the stamped name of the renowned maker of these types of chairs, W. Hands of High Wycombe to the underside of the seat rail.
