Pair of 1920’s Gordon Russell Oak Armchairs – Labelled

A top quality pair of early Gordon Russell chairs, beautifully made in solid oak, they are a good, large size, one is stamped by the canine maker, S.Belsham and with the copper Gordon Russell makers label. They are a fabulous design and feature chamfered back splats with wide flat arms, newly upholstered drop in seats sit upon octagonal shaped, tapering front legs with a central, connecting shaped stretcher. Every edge is chamfered, all pegged construction, they are both in excellent, clean and original condition. An early pair of stamped and labelled 1920’s Gordon Russell armchairs, perfect for dining, desk work or as beautiful side chairs.
