An Early 19thc Satinwood Bergere Chair

Description

A rare and decorative, early 19thC Satinwood Bergere chair. With original polychrome paint decoration, the chair is raised on square tapered legs with molded anklets and toes all decorated with garlands of foliage and urns. The shapely frame has a cane seat and back and a velvet covered squab cushion. In very good and original condition. 870mm high, 540mm wide, 560mm deep and 460mm seat height. English. Circa 1820.
