Antique Georgian Chippendale Mahogany Library Desk Arm Chair C1780 Wdb5011/7.9

Description

Superb antique george 111 chippendale mahogany library or desk chair and dating from aorund 1780. It has a shaped top which is carved to the centre and with scrolled ears above a central back splat joined by roundalls and with shaped outsplayed armrests incised and scrolled to the ends on a shaped support. It has a dark green leather stuff over seat and stands on squared legs joined by squared stretchers.

A superb quality georgian chair in very good condition with a lovely deep mellow colour and patination to the mahogany and oozes the charm and character of the georgian period.

Measures: 38" high X seat height 17" X 19" deep X 26" wide
