A stunning example of a Sussex chair, the turned frame and rush seat of this armchair were inspired by traditional rural furniture techniques. The Designer Ford Madox Brown was an original founder of Morris & Co alongside Morris, Marshall and Faulkner & Co. The chair sits beautifully with elegant proportions and lines.
Previously woodworm to back leg, treated and filled sympathetically many years ago.
